The Retail Associate is a key member of our Design Orchard Retail Showcase (DORS) and the face to our customers. Knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, you will provide a unique experience that embodies our Brand DNA.
As this role is in a service environment, you should be someone who has strong communication and interpersonal skills with a great and welcoming personality, able to inspire, lead and develop the team to deliver a seamless customer experience to make every visit to DORS unforgettable.

Key Role and Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage customers by providing an excellent in-store experience at all times
- Ensure high levels of customer’s satisfaction through excellent service
- Develop client relationships through an individual approach and leveraging on the CRM and Marketing tools
- Maintain and build customer base and loyalty
- Maximize sales opportunity to achieve sales target and KPIs
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store including cashiering and housekeeping duties of the shop floor
- Assist in managing inventory
- Ensure that safety, security, and administration procedures are followed.
- Assist with any other duties and tasks as assigned by our Store Manager

Job Requirements
Pre-requisites:
- Self-motivated and a good communicator
- Possess exceptional interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and the team members
- Have a positive, cheerful demeanor, and be a team player
- Passionate about, and supportive of, local fashion brands, products, and stories
- Enthusiastic about speaking, storytelling, and recommending said products
- Good product knowledge of the products in the store and be clear with the on-going promotions in the store
- This is a part-time role from October to December 2024, with a minimum commitment of 2 months preferred.
